JEWELLERY CARE & MAINTENANCE GUIDE

Anvranta jewellery is designed to be enjoyed and cared for appropriately. Depending upon the product, jewellery may contain plated metals, alloys, crystals, artificial stones, pearls or other decorative materials.

1. Keep Jewellery Dry

Unless the individual product specifically states otherwise, avoid prolonged exposure to:

  • water;

  • rain;

  • swimming pools;

  • seawater;

  • shower water;

  • excessive humidity; and

  • perspiration.

2. Avoid Chemicals

Avoid direct contact with:

  • perfume;

  • deodorant;

  • hairspray;

  • cosmetics;

  • lotions;

  • creams;

  • cleaning chemicals;

  • chlorine; and

  • other chemical substances.

Apply perfumes and cosmetics before wearing jewellery and allow them to dry before putting on the jewellery.

3. Put Jewellery on Last

As a general care practice, jewellery should preferably be worn after applying cosmetics, perfumes and other personal-care products.

4. Remove Before Physical Activities

Jewellery should preferably be removed before:

  • bathing;

  • swimming;

  • exercise;

  • sleeping;

  • household cleaning;

  • sports;

  • heavy physical activity; and

  • activities involving impact or friction.

5. Storage

Store jewellery:

  • in a clean and dry environment;

  • away from direct sunlight;

  • separately where possible;

  • preferably in its original packaging or a suitable jewellery box; and

  • protected from excessive humidity.

6. Cleaning

Use only cleaning methods recommended for the particular product.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or polishing agents unless specifically recommended for that product.

7. Normal Wear

Depending on the materials and use, jewellery may naturally experience:

  • surface scratches;

  • changes in shine;

  • plating wear;

  • tarnishing;

  • fading;

  • minor marks; or

  • other signs of normal use.

Such changes do not automatically constitute a manufacturing defect.

9. Allergies and Sensitivities

Some individuals may have sensitivities or allergies to particular metals, coatings or materials.

10. Product Integrity

Do not bend, cut, resize, modify, repair or chemically treat jewellery unless the product specifically permits such treatment.

Unauthorised modification may affect product integrity and may affect eligibility for defect-related claims.
